01. Introduction

Hello I am Monica and I am from Seoul, South Korea.

I am a student who is studying Craft Design for MA in Leicester, the UK,
and currently I am studying Pre-Master course at LIPC.
I studied Visual Communication Design at university in my hometown,
hence I am good at using Adobe Software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.

However, I am going to specialise in Glass Art.
I will never forget the moment when I saw glass blowing for the first time,
beautifully glitterung in flames,
during my travel. Due to the fact that I was totally fascinated by it, I went out of
my way. For that reason, I came to the UK for a studyng glass art.

I would like to be a glass artist and I am a big fan of musicals and plays. Therefore,
I would like to create glass products which related to theatres in the near future.



This blog will show about the process of my artworks at the university and
my journey to find out my dream.
