03. Packaging design -02

Packaging design

Through the reasearch, the final design was decided. 

After drawing the final sketch, I started to draw using software called Adobe Illustrator.
The reason for choosing that is,  Adobe Illustrator is easy to use and good for drawing. Every image can be drown using lines and faces.

After finishing the drawing, I moved that on the other software called Photoshop.
Photoshop is really useful to manipulate and edit images, thus I would like to combine the popcorn and packaging using Photoshop ( I took that popcorn picture in the cinema ).

Arrange the layout and fill the packaging with popcorn using Photoshop. In addition,

I put the cinema's logo and my own packaging logo.

Moreover, I filled the background colour with turquoise colour, because it tends to make the colour of the main objects look more correctly.   

3. Final Piece

It was used a real cinema logo for detail and reality and used yellow and orange for the main colours. Because, warm colour makes food look more tasty. Moreover, we would like to express buttery popcorn and maizes as the colours. In addition, for a cinema popcorn packaging, put 3D glasses on its surface.

The small white squares which are expressed by teeth are for a confirmation of order. For example, if someone orders caramel seasoning popcorn with other snacks, staff can write the details on the space. 

4. Reflection on my work

I have not researched in detail like this time before. During the making this packaging, I could think about current designs in depth and broaden my knowledge. However, even though I know what is good design, it is still difficult to apply in my artworks. I should develop expressiveness and communicative of my work.
